1. Add all the dry ingredients to a bowl and mix; whisk them until well combined.

2. In a different bowl, mix the wet ingredients: egg, melted butter, vanilla extract, and cream cheese.

3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients with your hands until the dough forms.

4.  Roll the cookie dough to a 1/4″ thickness between two sheets of parchment paper.

5. Cut the cookies using a cookie cutter, then repeat the process until there is no dough left.

6. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until the edges begin to brown. Let the cookies cool and decorate them.
